Report: Econ ministry to offer aid program to high-tech business
MOSCOW, Apr 27 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Economic Development Ministry is working on a program of help for the domestic high-tech business, Minister Maxim Reshetnikov told television channel Rossiya 24 in an interview on April 25.
“We’re actively developing an aid program for the high-tech business, because we’ve been investing much (in it) over the last 10 years,” Reshetnikov said.
The government injected money into institutions of development, and many companies have been set up during the recent years.
“Many firms grew up, and we have national champions. Many of them see new markets to export their products. It’s important for us not to lose it as these are the investments we, the government and the society, did. It’s crucial that these companies would keep on functioning and survive this difficult time,” the minister said.
